Golf Day for MDA is a golf tournament and silent auction to raise funds for The Muscular Dystrophy Association. For over twenty years Alex Callas has been putting on the Peter G. Callas Memorial Golf Day for MDA that is held at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. Typically there are over 250 participants at Golf Day. The event has a group play in the morning and another in the afternoon. The two groups are joined by a common lunch and silent auction. Alex works year round on this event and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Time: Shotgun Starts at 8a.m. and 2:15p.m.
Format: Scramble – Captains Choice
Cost: $490 per AM foursome
$530 per PM foursome
$800 to play both starts
$135 per AM Individual
$145 per PM Individual
$225 to play both starts
Food: Continental Breakfast for AM players.
Lunch for all players.
Dinner for PM players.
On-course beverages and snacks for all players.
Prizes: Place prizes, long drive, closest to pin, door prizes and tee gifts.
A silent auction will be held during lunch. All proceeds benefit MDA.
