 Bogeyman
|
Bogeyman here! I am the originator of this website. Myself and the entire staff love
to golf, have fun and enjoy life. At Waggle.com, our philosophy embodies just that - golf and fun! My best round
is 79 shot at Algonkian in 1997. I have been golfing for 20 years and play to about an 17 handicap. My normal
round is about 90-94 although I have the potential to shoot in the mid 80's if I could play more. However, like
most of you, I have many other commitments, which keep me from golfing as much as I'd like. The strong point of
my game is perhaps my ability to exert subtle mental distractions to my opponents. Also, I've been known to get a
few lucky bounces off of trees or perhaps skip one across the water every now and then - others call it luck, but us golfers know it is actually technique! My good drives
go about 250 or so, and my irons are not quite as accurate as I'd like (sound familiar?) but I usually get around
the course OK. I almost always go for the big shot, which is probably why I don't score as well as I could. However, what the heck, it's a game! Waggle ON!

 Lefty

Hello, I'm Lefty.
As a member of the waggle team, I will give a perspective from the proper side of the ball so all of the people
who hit from the southpaw side can relate to me. You "rightys" can too, although I may have to consult with the
other Waggle.com team members for additional guidance. OK, enough babble for the record, I'm 40 years old, have a
13 handicap and don't play nearly as often as I'd like to. (Doesn't that sound familiar)? My good drives go about
250 yds. I consider my mid and short irons to be the strong point of my game. Putting is streaky but when my putting
is "on", I can score pretty well (i.e. high 70's). Best round I ever shot was a 75 at Turf Valley a couple of years
ago (I actually won low gross in a tournament) but I normally shoot in the mid 80's. I've been golfing for about 9 years,
love the game, and am honored to be on the Waggle.com team. Since I live in Ellicott City, my main area of "expertise"
will be the Baltimore/Maryland area. Send me any feedback/comments and I'll be sure to get back to you ASAP.
Waggle ON!!

 Woody

Woody was one of the original staff members here at Waggle.com. He has since given up the chase for fame and fortune and
become a recluse. When time (and his wife) permits he stills joins us for an occasional round of golf and he may provide
some commentary for the site.

 Vranko

Vranko is one of our favorite playing partners and pigeon.
His work with us has earned him the status of an honorary Waggle staff member.
He is a 12 handicap and sandbagger extraordinaire. Look for book and course reviews from him.

 Ken
|
One of the few area natives, Ken recently took early retirement to live out the dream of playing golf every day. Tiring of everyday golf (just as friends had predicted) he has cut back his playing to 4 days a week spending the balance of the week traveling and writing for Waggle. His favorite golf quote about his game comes from Bob Hope who said "I usually shoot in the low 80's, if it's any hotter I don't play." A consistent player with three holes-in-one to his credit (one even witnessed by Bogeyman) Ken is notoriously fond of two 4-word phrases: "All you can play" and "All you can eat." CAUTION: Do not play him for money, or food.
